The Christmas Paradise Screensaver is an application you could get to decorate your computer in honor of the winter holidays, or an application you could get if you love Christmas so much that you celebrate it all yearlong. As its name so adequately points out, this application is a screensaver; a screensaver that will kick in when your computer goes idle and display the following on your monitor:

Christmassy images – in the background you can see the six images of snow-covered landscapes and an image of a cozy fireplace (seven images in all). On top of these images several animations are superimposed: a snowman, a Christmas tree, a smiling girl, and so on.

The screensaver will cycle through the aforementioned seven images. From the Settings menu you can choose for how long an image will be displayed before the screensaver moves on to the next one. You can also choose if you want the images to be displayed in order (sequential) or randomly. You can also set it up so the screensaver only displays one of the 7 images it has to offer (your favorite one for example). Last but not least, if you like one of the images, you can set it as your desktop wallpaper.

A clock – by default the screensaver displays a clock in the upper right hand corner of the screen. From the Settings menu you can change the position of the clock. If you don’t like the clock, you can disable it.

The images Christmas Paradise Screensaver displays are accompanied by music and sound effects. From the Settings menu you can disable the music and sound effects – if you find them bothersome of course. Or you can create a personalized playlist that will be played by the screensaver when it kicks in. You can create a personalized playlist and you can preview the tracks within the settings pane.
